The Hyundai Staria-Load Explained
There are always new vehicle models being unveiled from brands across the world. Some are exciting and some are less exciting, but the deluge of automotive news can sometimes make it difficult to spot which developments are particularly interesting. So, we like to highlight some of the more interesting ones for you here on the Hyundai of Bellingham blog.
One such development is the Hyundai Staria-Load, a Hyundai model with a unique name and a unique purpose. Unlike other Hyundai vehicles that are designed primarily for families and your everyday drivers, the Staria-Load is designed and engineered for businesses. In particular (and as the name suggests), it is designed for businesses that make frequent deliveries as part of their business model.
The fleet vehicles space is a new one for Hyundai, but it seems as though they are starting off on the right foot. The Staria-Load was first unveiled in 2021 and it boasts a 174-horsepower diesel engine with a cargo length of 102.6 inches. For businesses that don’t do deliveries, the vehicle can be modified from a two-seater to a five-seater to haul additional crew.

What Comes With the Staria-Load Premium
The latest change to this very new model is the new Premium trim. This adds amenities like 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and a larger 10.25-inch central display. A digital instrument cluster of the same size is also added.
One particularly helpful feature, however, is the electric tailgate. For businesses on the go, this could easily be a game changer. There is now no more fumbling with delivery supplies or merchandise while trying to open or close the rear doors.
Is the Staria-Load Available in the US?
So, all of that sounds really exciting, and as you can tell from the photos, the exterior design of the Staria-Load looks just as great. It is futuristic and emblematic of Hyundai’s future design language. All that said, we do have a bit of bad news.
If you were hoping to get behind the wheel of the Staria-Load, you certainly can… if you live in Australia. Currently, the Staria-Load is not available in the United States. Like everyone else, we hope this changes, but as of now, we are not aware of any plans that Hyundai might have to bring the vehicle to North America.

Of course, the Staria-Load may not remain an overseas-only vehicle forever. If we ever do hear that it is headed our way, we will be sure to keep you updated here on the Hyundai of Bellingham website blog.
