What to Expect From the 2024 Hyundai Sonata

The Hyundai Sonata has been one of the classiest and most stylish sedans available in its price range for quite some time now. It has always offered tremendous value and a spacious cabin, while maintaining a fun driving experience. Though Hyundai has yet to reveal any details on the Hyundai Sonata for the 2024 model year, there have been some reported hints and glimpses that may give us some idea of what we can expect.

The particular report we are referring to is from “autoevolution,” which showed off supposed photos of the expected 2024 Hyundai Sonata with no camouflage. According to the article, the model will undergo a facelift for the new model year, giving it an even more modern look.

A few of the updated design features include an LED light bar across the front fascia, an integrated ducktail spoiler and some black accents. As the article mentions, those black accents suggest an N-Line model for the 2024 Sonata will be available. If you are unfamiliar with the N-Line, it gets its name from NISMO, which is Hyundai’s motorsports division. N-Line models add unique design flair that reflects the performance capability of Nissan’s most powerful vehicles used in the racing circuits.

Has Hyundai Unveiled the 2024 Sonata Yet?

It’s important to note that these details have yet to be confirmed by Hyundai itself. Instead, this is all based on photos that were discovered on local car blogs. That said, we have no reason to doubt the report.

What we don’t know for sure, however, is what will change inside the vehicle or under the hood. It’s quite possible that little changes on that front, in which case, we can expect the Sonata to be available in 2024 with the same engine options that deliver 180 horsepower or 191 horsepower, depending on which model you get. For the current model year, there is also an electric version, which we would expect Nissan to carry over into 2024.

As for when Hyundai will make things official regarding the 2024 Hyundai Sonata, we can really only guess. Typically, models for the new model year don’t release until the summer at the earliest, but there are always some exceptions.
