Women Playing with Soccer Football Behind Hyundai Sedan

Like many other automakers throughout the industry, Hyundai has its hand in a lot of cookie jars beyond just the production of new vehicles. The company supports many community outreach programs and charities alongside hosting all kinds of campaigns throughout the years. This year, the company has created a new campaign designed to build upon a campaign they kicked off last year at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™. The ‘Goal of the Century’ campaign, as it was and is called, has been expanded to deliver a message in support of ‘Women + Inclusivity’ at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™. Learn about the campaign by reading below for more.

Goal of the Century

Hyundai Motor Expands Goal of the Century Campaign to Focus on Inclusivity for FIFA Womens World Cup 2023 BannerGoal of the Century (GOTC) is a global communication campaign encompassing a host of brand initiatives for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™. It’s made possible by a partnership between Hyundai Motors and FIFA, as the automaker is now the official mobility partner of the sports organization. However, GOTC is not a brand-new campaign. As we mentioned above, it actually kicked off last year during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

The original campaign highlighted the brand’s commitment to Sustainable, Innovative and Humane global efforts. Building on these three pillars that Hyundai is still very committed to, the expanded GOTC campaign will also focus on ‘Women + Inclusivity’ in addition to the foundation that was already laid.

Known Brand Initiatives

At this point we already know about a couple of brand initiatives that will be released as part of the expanded Goal of the Century campaign. The first initiative already kicked off earlier this year when the company released its first global campaign video built around a message of “How Far We’ve Come.” It is a tribute to the history of women’s football that not only highlights the incredible history of the sport but also the partnership between FIFA and Hyundai.

Additional brand initiatives that we are aware of include an exhibition called ‘Calling the Shots; Face of Women’s Football,’ which kicked off on July 20th and will run through August 20th at the FIFA Museum in Tumbalong Park, Sydney. They are also sponsoring Common Goal’s ‘Global Goal 5 Accelerator’ program, the ‘Football for Good’ Festival 23 in Sydney and several game programs throughout the tournament.
