All-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Design Cue Updates & Changes

For the 2024 model year, the Hyundai Santa Fe is being completely redesigned as it enters its fourth generation. Its previous generation kicked off in the 2019 model year, meaning 2023 its fifth year on the market, which is typically when Hyundai likes to redesign vehicles. We got our first sneak peek at the all-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe last month, with a big rundown on updates and changes to its overall aesthetic and design cues. Exterior Enhancements

The Hyundai Santa Fe has been “radically” redesigned for its new generation, and while that’s Hyundai’s word we definitely agree with it. If it weren’t for the badging we might not even recognize the new vehicle as a Santa Fe. The new Santa Fe adopts a boxy architecture that certainly gives it a distinctive new silhouette. Some of the new design cues around the exterior of the vehicle include a higher hood, H-shaped headlamps, sharp fenders, bolder roofline, shortened front overhang, a set of 21” wheels, larger tailgate and H-shaped taillights.

Interior Improvements

While the radical changes are immediately evident by looking at the vehicle’s exterior, the cabin is perhaps changed even more dramatically. The new iteration of the iconic vehicle was designed with outdoor lifestyles in mind, as that’s the way purchasing trends are leaning. With that in mind, designers built the new Santa Fe with a larger tailgate and more cargo space than ever before, thanks in large part to completely foldable second- and third-row seats.

The cabin’s design follows the same H motif as the exterior, dripping with refinement and advanced technology features. For example, some of the features found in the interior include a Panoramic Curved Display, dual wireless charging, a 12.3” digital cluster and, of course, an infotainment system. Some of the refinement comes in the form of soft-touch wood-patterned accents and Nappa leather seats, while sustainable materials used throughout help make it more eco friendly than previous iterations as well.
