What Do the Kona Gasoline and Electric Models Have in Common?
In addition to the gasoline versions, Hyundai also debuted the Kona Electric models at the New York Auto Show. So, what do you need to know about the 2024 Hyundai Kona gasoline and electric models? Also, what do the Kona gasoline and electric models have in common? Well, first, let’s begin by looking at what they have in common.
For starters, in all 2024 Kona models, one will find a completely new interior that’s far more spacious than ever before. This is because the Kona is 5.7 inches longer as well as an inch wider than the outgoing model. The end result is more cargo space and backseat legroom Meanwhile, towards the front of the car, standard 12.3-inch touchscreen interfaces come fully equipped with the auto maker’s latest suite of software, technology systems, etc. Needless to say, we can’t wait to try them out!
In addition to all of this, Hyundai has included an available Bose eight speaker audio system, remote smart parking, more charge ports in both the front and rear, over-the-air update-capable infotainment, and Digital Key 2 touch, which allows you to use your smartphone as a key for your 2024 Kona. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s an entire host of driver assistance and safety features, including Blind-spot View Monitor and Forward Collision-avoidance Assist.
Last but certainly not least, all 2024 Hyundai Kona models can be equipped with SmartSense Advanced Driver Assistance System features, including Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, High Beam Assist, Surround View Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Rear Occupant Alert/Safe Exit Warning, and Parking Collision Avoidance Assist-Reverse. Suffice it to say, the 2024 Hyundai Kona is fully set to be one of the safest cars in the world today.

Of course, the main differences between these models can be found in their respective powertrains. So, with that in mind, what are the 2024 Hyundai Kona gasoline and electric engine specifications? Both versions of the 2024 Kona have two powertrains to choose from.
First, the gasoline model comes with a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates up to 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque, as commanded by a continuously variable transmission.
