Hyundai Tucson Performance

The 187-horsepower 2.5 Liter 4-cylinder engine Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) with Multi-Port Injection (MPI) gives powerful 178 lb-ft of torque to all trim levels. An 8-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC® smoothly shifts through gears. The Tucson has standard Front Wheel Drive. Outfitted with available HTRAC All Wheel Drive and Column-mounted Motor-Driven Power (MDPS) rack-and-pinion steering makes cornering thrilling, with a solid grip and easy handling. The Tucson did not limit the redesign or attention to detail to its exterior. This is a collection of Safety Features available that help make Hyundai one of the safest brands in the industry. Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) warns the driver and provides slight steering correction in the case of unintended lane departure at higher speeds. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection(FCA-Ped) uses camera sensors to alert the driver and automatically activate the brakes if a potential collision is detected directly ahead, even if the object isn’t another vehicle. Elantra detects drowsy or other kinds of inattentive driving behavior, Driver Attention Warning will give audio and visual cues to help the driver become more alert. When it detects a vehicle in your blind spot area, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist will notify you with a visual alert initially, and give an audible alarm when you try to change lanes with a vehicle beside you. High Beam Assist (HBA) detects oncoming vehicles and toggles between high and low beams accordingly so you don’t have to and can keep your hands on the steering wheel.
